Seeking UK-Registered Doctors & Clinicians
Pride In Health is a community-focused, independent healthcare organisation dedicated to improving access to affordable, gender-affirming care for trans, non-binary, and intersex individuals. As a trans-led organisation, we provide a structured platform for independent healthcare professionals to offer consultations, medical guidance, and prescriptions in a supportive and affirming environment.
We are in the process of becoming a Community Interest Company (CIC) to further embed our commitment to supporting access to affordable healthcare and ethical pricing. As part of this, we prioritise keeping costs as low as possible for our community, while ensuring clinicians receive fair, competitive rates for their expertise.
Role Overview
We are seeking UK-registered doctors, nurses, or prescribing pharmacists to provide remote consultations supporting clients at various stages of their gender-affirming healthcare journey. Consultations are conducted via a secure platform, with administrative support to streamline scheduling and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments to review medical history and discuss gender-affirming treatment options.
- Provide follow-up appointments to monitor progress and adjust treatment where necessary.
- Offer clinical guidance on medication management and general health concerns related to gender-affirming care.
- Work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to support client needs

Who We’re Looking For
- UK-registered doctors or clinicians with experience in gender-affirming healthcare, general practice, or sexual health.
- A client centred approach, with an understanding of informed consent and harm reduction models in gender-affirming care.
- Ability to provide ethical, inclusive, and high quality care to a diverse client base.
- Commitment to professional standards and independent contractor responsibilities, including self management of tax and financial obligations.

The Role
We are looking for a strategic leader and fundraiser who is passionate about trans healthcare and equity in access and is committed to growing an organisation from the ground up.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in not-for-profit fundraising, healthcare social enterprise development, or community engagement, who is excited about leading a purpose-driven initiative.
Since we are still establishing financial sustainability, this position will initially be unpaid or based on funding secured by the candidate (grants, fundraising, or revenue generation). However, the long-term vision is for this role to evolve into a CEO position with a sustainable salary as funding is secured.
Key Responsibilities
- Fundraising & Grant Development: Identify and secure grant funding, relationships, and revenue streams to support Pride In Health’s growth and sustainability.
- Community Engagement & Relationships: Build relationships with LGBTQ+ health advocates, funders, and stakeholders to expand our impact.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute strategies to grow Pride In Health’s services, reach, and sustainability.
- Leadership Development: Work closely with the existing team, shaping the organisation’s direction and preparing for a future CEO role.
- Revenue Generation: Explore alternative income streams (e.g., service relationships, ethical funding opportunities).
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in fundraising, business development, or non-profit leadership, preferably in trans healthcare, LGBTQ+ advocacy, or social enterprises.
- Strong grant writing and partnership-building skills.
- Comfortable working independently and driving growth.
- Passionate about community-led trans healthcare and equity in access.
- Willingness to take on a demanding role, with the understanding that compensation is contingent on funding success.
