How bookings work
When you place a booking through our portal, it will be marked as provisional. An invoice will be sent to you within 24 working hours after you make your provisional booking (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
Once you’ve received and paid your invoice, our team will review your payment and send you a confirmation email. At that point your booking is fully confirmed.
After confirmation, you’ll be able to view, rearrange, or cancel your appointment directly through your Carebit portal.
Once registered, you'll be provided with access to your Carebit portal and able to request appointments as and when needed.
A one-time fee to set up your account, verify your details, and provide you with full access to the Carebit portal, where you can manage bookings, upload test results, and contact the team.

Flexible Support provides access to individual healthcare services without being part of a full prescribing pathway. It’s designed for those self managing their care, accessing other services, or needing one off support such as blood tests, counselling, or clinical letters.
Anyone over 18 who is accessing or self-managing gender-affirming care within the UK can register. You’ll need to complete a short registration and pay the one-off registration fee (£54 including VAT).
No you don't, Flexible Support focuses on harm reduction and informed consent. However, if you’d like a formal diagnosis report for future use (for example, for a surgery referral), you can book a Formal Diagnosis Appointment.
You can request private blood tests through our partnered provider. Prices start from £54 (Full Blood Count) and vary depending on what is required. Your clinician can guide which panels are most suitable.
You can of course book counselling and support sessions from £80.40 (25min) or £110.40 (50min), and you can choose the practitioner you’d like to work with.
You can! Many clients begin with Flexible Support before moving to Prescribing Support. Once ready, you’ll complete the Prescribing Registration (paying the difference between the two pathways), and any required intake and monitoring appointments.
The Flexible Support pathway does not include prescriptions. If you need prescribing support, check out our Prescribing Support Pathway.
Once you’ve submitted your documents, our team will review them and once approved, send an invoice for the registration fee £54 including VAT. Once paid, you'll be set up with your Carebit portal access. You can then start booking services right away.
We aim to review and approve registrations within 5 working days. If there are any delays, we’ll keep you updated via your email.
Pride In Health does not supply medication. If your clinician issues a prescription, it will be sent securely via SignatureRX, which you can take to a pharmacy of your choice. Pharmacies will charge their own medication costs separately. It's always a good idea to speak to 2 or 3 local pharmacies to find the best pricing and service options local to you.
These details help your clinician make sure that any treatment or medication prescribed is safe and suitable for you. Hormones and other medicines can affect things like blood pressure, weight, and metabolism, so having this information means your care can be monitored safely over time. It also helps identify if any adjustments might be needed to keep you feeling well throughout your journey.
You can measure your height and weight at home using a tape measure and bathroom scales, or ask your GP surgery or local pharmacy if you don’t have access to these.
Once you know your height and weight, you can calculate your BMI using the NHS BMI calculator here: https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-weight/bmi-calculator/.
Blood pressure can be checked at most pharmacies, GP surgeries, or using a home monitor. If you’re using your own monitor, please make sure you’re seated and relaxed before taking your reading.
If you’re unsure or don’t have access to equipment, you can let us know and we’ll guide you on what’s needed for your stage of care and how to get it checked safely.
