Gender-Affirming Care and Clinician Support

Yes. Pride In Health welcomes collaborative working with GPs where this is clinically appropriate and where the client has given consent.


Shared care is always at the discretion of the GP practice. Where shared care is agreed, Pride In Health can provide relevant clinical information, treatment recommendations and ongoing specialist review within the scope of the client’s care pathway.


Clinical care is provided by UK-registered professionals working within Pride In Health’s multidisciplinary team, governance processes and professional standards.


The team includes GMC-registered doctors, NMC-registered nurses, GPhC-registered pharmacists, an HCPC-registered biochemist and psychologists registered with HCPC, BPS, COPC and ACCPH.


Hormone prescribing is supported by clinical assessment, informed consent, blood test review, ongoing monitoring and documented follow-up.


Prescribing decisions are made by appropriately registered clinicians working within their scope of practice, professional registration and clinical responsibilities.

Yes. All clinicians working with Pride In Health are listed on the registers of their professional bodies, which can be checked directly via the GMC, NMC, GPhC, HCPC, or BPS websites. As a practitioner, you can reach out for more information about this.


Yes you can. However, Information can only be shared if the client has provided consent to sharing information.


All client records are securely managed through Carebit, and handled in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Access to records is restricted to the team members and clinicians who need it for your care, and we follow strict confidentiality and data protection procedures.


If you ever want to ask what information we hold, or request deletion where appropriate, you can email security@prideinhealth.co.uk

Please only include personal or clinical information where there is a lawful basis to share it, and where the client has given appropriate consent unless another legal basis applies.
